Dan Dugger currently serves as the City Manager of Boynton Beach overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing policies set by the City Commission. With 20+ years of experience in municipal government, Dan manages a budget of approximately $323 million and leads a team of 960 employees across various city departments. 

In April 2026, the BBCRA Board appointed Dan as the Interim Executive Director of the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and in August 2026, the BBCRA Board appointed Dan as the Chief Executive Officer. This transition brings together the resources, expertise and shared priorities of the City and BBCRA, creating new opportunities to advance redevelopment opportunities for investment, redevelopment and economic growth. 

Dan is also a proud veteran of the United States Army, and a Retired Boynton Beach Police Captain.
