Adam N. Temple is Deputy City Manager for the City of Boynton Beach and Executive Director of the BBCRA, bringing more than two decades of public service and a career spanning military leadership, business, development, and municipal management.

In August 2026, Adam assumed the additional role of BBCRA Executive Director following the approval of a Master Administrative Services Agreement between the City of Boynton Beach and the BBCRA. In this joint role, Adam helps lead the BBCRA’s redevelopment and economic development efforts while continuing to serve as Deputy City Manager.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Adam served as an active-duty Petty Officer, including combat tours during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He later spent more than a decade in leadership with the City of Doral, gaining extensive municipal experience during a defining period of rapid growth and transformation.

Since joining the City of Boynton Beach in 2019, Adam has helped guide the community through substantial commercial and residential investment, including the ongoing transformation of downtown Boynton Beach. His career has advanced alongside that momentum, ultimately leading to his role as Deputy City Manager, where he oversees a broad portfolio that includes public safety, planning and development, building, code enforcement, and other key municipal functions.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and an MBA from Florida International University. An entrepreneur with ownership experience in the brewery and restaurant industry, as well as experience in real estate development, he brings a valuable private-sector perspective to public leadership.
